Although we’re Nerds & pretty clever, we prefer to speak in plain old English so you fully understand what your system does & how it can become a more productive tool. If you’d like us to use the Buzz-Words & Geek-Speak, we can do that too, and we don’t charge any extra......he heh.
On-Site Preventative Maintenance
Now here’s a tip from the “Head Nerd”! One of the biggest killers of PC’s and especially Laptop’s & Notebook computers is HEAT. When a computer starts to overheat the internal processor/s (or smarts) inside will start to act erratically & probably slow everything down to try and maintain a cooler temperature. In many cases, if it gets too hot the processor has the smarts to switch off the computer all together to avoid permanent damage. Now would you believe, most overheating problems & failed power supplies are caused by a build-up of dust. In fact, exactly the same dust you find on air conditioning filters and like air conditioners, our PC’s and especially Laptop’s need to be regularly serviced & cleaned to maintain reliable service.
